Board of Directors

Allen Jernigan Jr., President
Allen grew up in South Georgia and has been married for 21 years with four children ages 16, 13, 3 and 2.  He received his degree from Indiana University at South Bend and began his career in banking with First Atlanta bank as a repo man for the sales finance division.  Since, he has served in numerous lending functions, including forming a bank from the ground up and serving as its chief lender.  He received a graduate banking degree through the American Bankers Association at The University of Oklahoma.  He is now Senior Vice President of Alpharetta Community Bank and works in commercial lending.  He is active in the community and spends his spare time with his children, doing track days on my motorcycle, & playing golf.  He is the current president of Habitat for Humanity of Hall County, the president of North Hall Cheer booster club and just finished a year in Leadership North Fulton.  


Bobby Lewallen, Vice PresidentBobby Lewallen, Vice President
Bobby Lewallen is originally from Hall County. He and his wife, Jan, are members of Blackshear Place Baptist Church where he has many leadership roles including serving as a deacon. He is a Distribution Supervisor for Georgia Power Company in Gainesville where he has been employed for 30 years. Bobby attended Truett McConnell College and Gainesville College. He has been involved in community activities and felt that Habitat for Humanity would provide him with the opportunity to open doors for those seeking the American dream of one day owning their own home. Bobby believes you can obtain your goal with hard work and perseverance.

Danny Sanderson, SecretaryDanny Sanderson, Secretary
Danny is originally from Loganville, Georgia. He received his B.A. in Finance at North Georgia College. He currently works as a mortgage lender at BB&T. Danny became interested in Habitat Hall County because he enjoys improving his community and believes that one of the best ways to accomplish this is to help those in need. He currently serves as the treasurer fro the HFH HC board of directors. As a result, he mainly works with the Executive Director in handling the financial management of our affiliate.


Doug Smith, P.E., Chairman of the BoardDoug Smith, P.E., Chairman of the Board
Doug Smith is originally from Hall County.  He currently volunteers with the Habitat RESTORE on a regular basis. He attended Young Harris College and received a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University. He received his Master of Business Administration from Brenau University.  He currently works at Jackson Electric Corporation as the Gainesville District Engineering Supervisor.  He currently serves as chairman of the board on the Habitat for Humanity of Hall County Board of Directors.

Alan BorsonAlan Borson
Alan Borson was born in Detroit, Michigan, and moved all around the Midwest as a child.  After he was married, he and his family lived in Ohio, Indiana, Oklahoma, Virginia, and now Gainesville, Georgia. He graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in Structural Engineering. Currenly, he is self-employed as a custom home consultant and is semi-retired. About 15 years ago, Alan became interested in Habitat for Humanity in Virginia Beach.  In addition to the joy it brought him in helping people achieve the dream of owning their home, Alan enjoyed lending his construction skills whenever they were needed. Alan considers himself to be a results oriented person and does not mind ruffling some feathers to accomplish worthwhile goals. He believes that action and not talking gets things done.


Doug DaileyDoug Dailey
Doug Dailey is an Episcopal priest who came to Gainesville in the summer of 2002 to begin duties as the rector of Grace Episcopal Church. Shortly after arriving in Gainesville, he became involved with Habitat of Hall County. Doug’s previous church in Statesville, North Carolina, built three Habitat houses during his tenure there, and he also served on the board of the local Habitat affiliate. As a result, Doug arrived in Gainesville with an enthusiasm for and a commitment to the work of Habitat. Grace Church in Gainesville has sponsored and built three Habitat houses since Doug’s arrival. Doug is married to Judi, a neonatal nurse, and they have three daughters: Jennifer (23), Sarah (19), and Christina (16). All of Doug’s family have served as Habitat volunteers and share his conviction that helping Habitat is one of the best ways to put faith into action.


Larry ForbesLarry Forbes
Larry Forbes has lived in Gainesville, GA for 30 years. He currently is a partner at Sullivan & Forbes, LCC. He attended Southern Tech Artitecture. He is actively involved in Boy Scouts and also the Gainesville-Hall County Home Builders Assoication. He is happily married to his wife, Renee and they have three children, Jessica, 17, Lieren, 15, and Spencer 11.


Rusty GravittRusty Gravitt
Rusty Gravitt is a lifelong resident of Gainesville and is married with three children. He has served as president of Gainesville Mechanical, Inc. since 1989. He has also served on numerous boards for other civic groups serving the Gainesville community.  He said he joined the Habitat for Humanity Board to serve others and improve our the community for this and future generations.


Mike Holliman
Mike is the vice-president of Olin and Holliman Homes and has been a partner since its inception. Mike is a 'third' generation homebuilder. His family has been in the homemaking business since 1953. Mike serves on the Board of Directors for the Gainesville-Hall County Homebuilders Association. Mike started one of the first Future Homebuilders Programs in the state at Chestatee High School. He is very involved in the community with partners in Education, Habitat for Humanity, and also Challenged Child and Friends. He is a current member of The National Association of Homebuilders and The Georgia Association of Homebuilders. Mike and his wife Nancy live in Flowery Branch along with their daughter Madelyn. Oma MillwoodOma Millwood
Oma Millwood is a native resident of Hall County. She is the Owner/Broker of Millwood Realty and has been selling real estate for the past 36 years.  Her family has attended Free Chapel Worship Center for 40 years where she also serves on their Board of Directors.  Oma considers her position on the Board of Habitat for Humanity of Hall County to be very rewarding. She is amazed at what a collective group of people can do to positively affect families in their community. As a real estate broker, she realizes the importance and fundamental worth of owning one's own home and greatly enjoys helping people who otherwise would not be able to become homeowners take ownership of a place to truly call home. Although she works with people on a daily basis to acquire homes, she explains that working with Habitat homeowners is a totally different and extremely fulfilling experience.


Wesley Robinson
Wesley Robinson was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana but was raised here in Gainesville, Georgia. He received his B.A. from the University of Chicago and his J.D. from the University of Georgia. He is currently a partner at the law firm of Carey, Jarrard & Walker, LLP. He has been working with Habitat for Humanity of Hall County since 1995 and once served as the Board President for the Habitat Hall County Board of Directors.  While in law school, Wes became interested in Habitat after hearing Millard Fuller, the founder of Habitat for Humanity, speak about its story and mission. One of his favorite parts about serving as a board member for Habitat Hall County is working with the families that are chosen to receive Habitat homes.  Picture coming soon.
