Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry. Habitat for Humanity International seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat for Humanity of Hall County is an incorporated affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International and was established in 1991.

Partnering with the mission and goals of Habitat for Humanity International, Habitat for Humanity of Hall County works to promote home ownership with volunteers building houses in partnership with Gainesville residents in need of adequate housing. We have built and rehabiliated a total of 30 houses as of August 31, 2008!
