Habitat High

Habitat High is a joint venture between the Hall County School System, Habitat for Humanity of Hall County, and the Gainesville-Hall County Home Builders Association. The objective is to give advanced construction students in the Hall County High Schools the opportunity to get real life job experience in the homebuilding industry and to teach them the benefit of giving back to their community, while exposing the students to advanced educational opportunties within all aspects of the construction industry. Each semester, students construct a site-built home for Habitat for Humanity of Hall County and at the same time are exposed to the basic business systems involved in the homebuilding industry.
